Selling Your Soul For A Free DVD (32)

The Mail on Sunday have a DVD giveaway tomorrow, a new film called 'The Riddle'.
Oh dear, me thought, how dreadful it must be not to get a cinema or even a DVD release. Then I read the blurb on IMDB. Doesn't sound too bad, it actually has an interesting-sounding plot.
So, tomorrow morning, I'll be sending Altheus off to the village shop to purchase a copy (and some pain au chocolat). Obviously, I couldn't be seen in public buying one.
But the Mail? Forgive me. But I'm such a tart for a free DVD.

I know, I know.
I shall beat myself with copies of the Guardian to purify myself.

You send your Master out to run errands for you? I suspect a rolled-up Mail On Sunday (with all the magazines, pull-outs and garden furniture catalogues still inside) would make a dandy implement for spanking the panda.....

If you're asking that question, you'll never understand the answer.

You're a very rude man.

That's what i was thinking too, although it has Derek Jacobi and Vanessa Redgrave. However, straight-to-freebie has got to be as bad as stright-to-video, and I trust if it couldn't get even limited distribution it's not worth watching. http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?firmhawk

Can't you just buy the mail, take out the DVD and then hand it back? |

I'll be hiding in the shrubbery with a camera, ready to paparazzi him holding a copy of the Mail on Sunday.

Or dump it straight into the paper recycle bin at the village hall!
Good idea. I don't want the Mail contaminating the house.
