Four of the biggest blighters I have ever seen in as many days, two in the last ten minutes, one setting my two daughters off screaming as it marched across the eldests pillow and the other jumping out on my youngest in the kitchen. The day before yesterday one was in my bedroom!!

They are trying to take over I tell ya - well they won't succeed - not in my house!!

We are a family of arachnaphobes but my son seems to be the only one to have gotten over his fear enough to be capable of killing the horrible things.

Shudders.

I must say that I have noticed more of them this year than previous years. Perhaps it's the rain we had earlier but they do seem to be much larger too.

Today's the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Try finding one of these buggers in your room:

Send 'em to my house, I love spiders. Even gave up my bath to the HUGE one in there that took up residence last night. A real beauty. Just waiting for the pic to be approved :)

He's really hairy, and really pretty.

If he's still there in the morning, I'll take him out so I can have my shower, then simply put him back again .... or maybe I'll send him round to yours so he can play with his friends .....

Never wrestle with pigs. You both get filthy, but the pig loves it.

Errrr thanks for that but I think I'll pass - having already stated I have a morbid fear of the damn things.

Didn't we used to be friends?

I don't like them much, and have often been called to remove them from bathroom, daughter's bedroom etc (usually using the glass & postcard technique), but I would never deliberately kill them; anything that eats flies and mosquitoes is on our side!

If it wasn't for spiders we'd be up to our necks in big fat flies - they are far more scared of us. :). Are you going to the BBB this weekend?

You're perverted, twisted & sick...I like that in a person!
