i am such a sad little dragon
unbelievably heart broken. had to take my beloved cat to the vets today.......
they said it would be better to let him go, the final sleep, he had given up, had enough and i know i had to do it cos i loved him but oh the pain, selfish i know, but i he had been with me for over 16 years (hell he lasted longer than my marriage)
had to break the news to the kids when they got home from school, daughter was distraught, son's first words were...."can we get a dog now".....ermmmmm no
Master was with me when i made the decision, very glad he was, i would not have been able to drive, was sobbing when i came out the room, all i could hear was the other people's sympathetic awwwwws
need huge hugggssss, just want to curl up and sleep....
Good bye Tass......

I know what its like to lose a beloved kitty. YOu did the right thing for your puss and allow yourself time to grieve. You have lost a beloved member of your family and you need to go through the mourning process. Once you begin to heal you will remember what joy and love you shared with your cat xx |

So very sad, but what an age to reach. Pets are such a part of peoples families and sometimes I think we dont realise quite how much until they are gone. They listen and dont judge us but often seem to know when we are in need of comfort. Your mind is like a parachute, useless when closed. |

It's an awful thing to have to do, even when it is in your pet's best interests - it's also one of the most unselfish ways you can show you care. Hugs and sympathy Humanity is my interface with reality ~ Shiva AI |

Very sorry to hear about your loss. My former cat is very old and I dread the day that I will hear that she has passed away. "It's not that I condone facism or any -ism for that that matter. Isms in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an ism. He should believe in himself" |

O my god that is horrable, is it really so sad. Our dog is dieing she has cancer and we know her time is coming we are trying to give her a couple of happy pain free months and make them as comfy as we can, but we both know what is to come soon, we are not looking forword to it and i am trying not to think what it is going to be like when we to have to say our good bye's. I know one thing thought and it is something someone said to me a long time ago and that is they are there for us no matter what, so the least we can do is be there for them right till the end, no matter how upsetting it is for us, they need to see us at the end holding them, so they are not afraid to sleep in peace. big hugs to you. kebi (hunnysuckle) Edited 11 Sep 07, 9:27 PM by hunnysuckle |
