Last week was lovely. Having the chance to spend a decent amount of time together is good for any relationship, especially near the start. her work shifts falling that, all bar 24 hours, we where able to spend from the Sunday evening till the Saturday morning together was great. she already feels like such an integral part of My life, it was wonderful to have her where she belongs.
Of course I had an increasingly nervous girl as the week went on though. Friday evening was going to be her first ever outing onto the scene. "scared" doesn't begin to do it justice and yes I had to force the issue to get her there, even within yards of the pub she was ready to bolt if she'd been allowed to.
she wasn't allowed to and she was a brave girl who, as always, tried her best to keep her nerves in check.
Thanks especially to scarlet31 and normalbloke (and a little later Mistress_Amethyst and her lovely boy Curious_Sub) for helping her feel welcome which went a long way toward her calming down, enjoying the evening and realizing her Master had been right all along and that there was nothing to be scared of.
The next morning I the having to say goodbye for a few days was made a little less pleasant by finding out that we mean something quite different by the term "I'm a little on the curb". Not as I assumed meaning the tire catching it a bit, but a foot or so on the pavement.... maybe OK elsewhere but in Croydon that collects tickets 
I had a rather unhappy girl driving off to go to work.
I started missing her when she isn't here pretty much from the first visit and this time is no exception. Though made a little more palatable by a friend arriving on Saturday evening. I can recommend Pan's Labyrinth to anyone who loves very dark fairy tales (And doesn't mind subtitles).
After setting the world to rights most of the night and giving My shortsword and straight dragon a little workout we headed for LAM.
First (and last some six hours later) stop of the day was of course uktrucker for a crepe before seeing who else had turned up. A great day as always at one of the most enjoyable monthly social events on the scene (Would have been improved by My girl being there, but I'll get her there at some point)
Nice to see what happens when us perves get behind a cause. For all his nerves and bratting I could see trucker was quite choked when he realized the target for the little girls buggy hadn't just been met but smashed. you did good mate and its nice to be part of something that is going to make a very real difference in someones quality of life.
I really had to force Myself to get up on that stage to give amai_diamond a caning... *sigh* it was a tough job but someone had to do it...... and the fact that she'd been trying to tug My beard all morning had NOTHING to do with it at ALL 
Quiet evening last night and another tonight as My girl is off out with friends before driving back up tomorrow....... back where she belongs
