This is why I like IC. What a question! My clone would say, "You're not good enough." This opens all kinds of parallel universe possibilities beloved of cheesy sci-fi franchises in which I would adventure through various dimensional gates in order to prove that I was, in fact, good enough for me. I've had time to sleep on this and found myself thinking of the chicken and egg scenario. Assuming the clone of me was suitably attractive and I was allowed to ingest a suitable amount of mind altering substances in order to come to terms with what would essentially be classed as incest - there could be possibilities. But there would lie the problem - or the initial egg. Or chicken. Or egg... You see, I'd be thinking - wow, this clone is going to know exactly what buttons to press. It's going to order me around and have me attend to it's chores and probably have me spending several hours licking it's feet and shoes. But then, the clone me, if it was a good copy clone that is, would be thinking - 'well hang on a minute Mr Fresher - i want YOU to order ME around and have me attending to YOUR every whim' Would we be able to take it in turns? I'm not sure - I don't see myself as a switch - and the clone wouldn't either. So which of us would get to 'go first'? Much heated debate would take place. Many pints of cold lager and pork scratchings would be consumed. We'd get through the entire back catalogue of Depeche Mode's albums and each do several Dave Gahan impressions. We'd polish off several rare steaks. And we'd want to log everything on a blog on IC - which would result in a full on fight as there's only one computer in my flat. So that's what would happen. We'd get drunk, eat steak and end of scrubbing each other's eyes out. Which wouldn't be doing as neither of us are into pain. This ruddy scenario is a nightmare. What the devil was I thinking?
