Trance

Cheeky girls/Birdy song (psychological torture)

Or anything that can cover up the sound of whipping, rattling chains and squeals

My preference is for hard industrial (think Laibach), atmospheric electronica and electrosleaze, though lots of other things work in the right circumstances. T and I recently did some ponytraining to Bach's cello suites, which worked wonderfully well.

Rammstein is good! But softer things can be good too, like Vast; as verte says, it depends on the circumstances...

Purrrrrrrr

I guess opinion will differ between the sexes. I personally would find enya abit too relaxing.. unless that was the desired effect ;)

I like to relax in session and am also a different sex to the lovely Ms Tytania

:) :)

I go for something reasonably gentle that I am listening to at the time eg K T Tunstall, Katie Melua, Dixie Chicks - it's more as background to be honest to help me chill out

So you have your slave, or you are the slave/sub. While you do your work or get worked on, what music would you prefere? Heavy metal or some thumping trance. Or others you can think of, classical?

hopew this stricks a responce?

daz.

When it comes to music I'm a total Dom.

I stomp on metal and hard trance.

The worst music in the world. (apart from gangsta rap and boy bands)

If it was up to me it would be scorched earth policy.

Every hard trance disk should be crushed, stomped and torched by flame throwing warriors from the land of deep soulful heavy basslines and dirty grooves.

Not that we would have to crush all of them because they all sound alike, one sacrificial hard trance disk in the incinerator would suffice as they all sound alike and have done for ten stretch or more.

Lets bring back imagination, bass, rhythm, groove, percussion and all them tings that where whitewashed when girl/boy bands, commercial house, r&b, trance and metal became popular.

Hard trance and to a lesser extent metal are musical viruses that the world could do without.

Bring back the groove and the BASS..................

Lets crush trance and metal with the heaviest, squelchiest BASSLINE EVER like the piano in a cartoon or an anvil dropped from on high BOSH.

Gone, dead flat like a pancake.....never to arise or ruin a Goan beach, a Thai island or an English field ever again

I know the BDSM world is a trance/metal crowd, whats a girlyboy to do????

I apologize for my scathing attack and I'm sure I will cause much mayhem for my heresy.

I can't help me self!!!!!

The thing is I quite like rock (even some early heavy metal Motorhead springs to mind) and I'm a mad collector of hard electronic music early Techno etc.

I've been collecting tunes since 1984

But trance music and modern metal have severed the ties with rhythm, percussion, soul, hammond/rhodes organs, heavy bass, funky drumming, piano, strings, 808 drum machine, the moog even bongos, congas and the humble triangle are non existent in trance and metal. (Variety is lodged, I need musical freedom)

Quality vocals are a thing of the past, no more Aretha Franklin or Lou Rawls not even a Jeff Buckley or Robert Plant for the future. It's all Marylin Manson and Goa trance. It's dead, soulless and without that extra spice.

A creature of my caliber needs that special twist to fuel my imagination, sooth my soul, make the feet stomp and the teeth gnash. mmmmmmm

Led Zep, James Brown, The Stone Roses, Curtis Mayfield, Derick May, Frankie Knuckles, The Faces, Lou Reed, Africa Bambaata, Ska, Jazz Funk, Classic House, Deep Soul, Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Broken Beat, Itchy Acid,we need some heavy musical manners for 2007..... ;-)

Oh yes

Anything but a hard trance party.

Bring on THE HEAVIEST BASSLINE EVER...lets get crushing lol lol lol

can I just say that nu 'metal' - what you describe as so popular right now - has NOTHING to do with real Metal. It's wanna-be hard rock, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Papa Roach etc - I agree, be gone. The real metal - old Metallica, Maiden, Judas Priest, Sepultura, Slayer etc - THAT is metal.

I hate music in Session. My Mistresse's voice is all the music I need.

The truth will out
