The Brighton Munch is now back at the Caroline of Brunswick since our July rest  We are a small friendly group that has been meeting on the third Sunday of the month since 2002, and at the Caroline of Brunswick since June. The Carolina of Brunswick is in the town centre, at the south end of Ditchling Road opposite the Level, but with adjacent parking and within walking distance of Brighton Station. http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?addr=39%20Ditch... The landlord and lady both know the scene. We have also used the function room upstairs for our rope workshops as well. To get there as you enter go down the right hand side of the bar and before you get to the garden you will see a door marked private; go through the door and we will be at the top of the stairs. We do not have munches in July as people are either away or on the beach; similarly people are also busy on the third Sunday in December, as people are either away or shopping. Members are a group of people that are interested in BDSM. Attendance varies, but generally it is between nine and eleven. July we don't have a munch as too many people are either away, or prefer to be on the beach, that Sunday (this year that would not have been a problem). The dress code is casual. Short of a heatwave we should have a good turnout. This is a social event, not a play event, having said that we had a second rope workshop in July, on a weekday evening, which we had seven attend. The next rope workshop is likely to be early September. We have two sites: a general site, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/brightonbdsm/ and a more focused site, http://www.worldgroups.com/groups/BrightonMunch. Membership of either requires a relevant completed Yahoo! or WorldGroups profile respectively. Our email address is brightonmunch@hotmail.com I can be recognised by my kilt, unless it is too hot. We had eight attending, considering some people are on holiday that was good turnout. The Carolina of Brunswick bar was, unusually, deserted so we stayed downstairs. The next Brighton Munch is on the third Sunday of the month as always, the 16th of September, with people arriving from 3.00 and people starting to leave by 5.00. You can recognise me by my kilt.
