That seems to be what my cat has, it's raining a bit here and it's gone cold, but he still wants to go out.
He keeps coming in to see me, he yowls as if he's saying, "let's check again", so we make our way to the back door. I open the door and he looks out into the wet night, he wags his tail hard to show his displeasure, then looks at me as if to say, "let's check back soon".
So five minutes later he comes in and yowls again and off we go to look, still raining...
I wish I could tell him it isn't going to change, at least not for a while, and that he shouldn't get his hopes up, but off he goes to have another look, we even tried the front door, but it's raining there too.
Here he comes again, it's still raining, but we'll go for another look.
