Following on from Mel's good news we had some rather good news ourselves yesterday.
We have a house! 
This has been two years in the making, job changes and house moves that saw me move 150 miles north and buying a house just down the road from Capi's
Almost every night for a year J has walked me the few hundred yards from one to the other. Not any more. By this winter we should all be under one roof. Capi and I did the first viewing of several houses that fit the bill, this one just ticked so many boxes it was like it had been made for us.
The second viewing J and Capi's mum and Sherbetface came too so it was a bit of a tribal invasion (poor woman)Everyone likes it! So a phone conversation with the house owners last night to do the necessary bartering and I think everyone is happy with the deal.
It is my very pleasant task today to call the estate agent and get the ball rolling. Yayyyy!
Let's just hope there are no snags along the way and then we can turn our house into a home. Our home.
