Was I wise doing a self suspension workshop? Swinging about suspended by one foot may be impressive - but better if the rope comes free at the moment I want it to rather than jamming 
Still - not the only one it happened to recently or so I hear

Hmmmm... actually yes, imo, as you are not alone in case some unexpected problems happen.
There's a good reason for me to use a separate ring or carabiner for each rope (learnt that after my first public performance...) Like here...
Did it happen to enough people to consider founding a club? We could launch the Western branch of 'The Reluctant Bats'...
I got my only head bump the day I swapped the waist rope for a hip rope in an inverted suspension, and wished my legs were a tad longer...
* What kind of suspension did you work on? BTW, have a look there, the last two rows of pics, and tell me if the ankle tie reminds you of anything... I've used this tie several times on myself and other people, and it's just fantastic, thanks to you, Ellie, Music Lover and Lew Rubens (he's the one who suggested the weaving) Looking forward to see you suspend yourself next time we meet!

Hi Shadow. Self suspension is my usual means to test out ideas and systems and not something I usually do for its self, so on this occasion I emulated some of the things Ive seen you do so elegantly and checked the foot tie with M.L. It'll not be long before mushroomgirl is developing suspensions, she's very good at hanging about All worked well - I did use multiple Karabinas but the hawser laid hemp twisted through the foot loop - easily reached and freed.
The bump came when I showed off a little by whizzing about and swung into the chair I had launched off. Entirely my own fault Thanks for the links - see you soon I hope.
