...Inside my head are set to overload.
Or at least that's what it felt like yesterday.
I don't know what set me off feeling like that, but somewhere in my head I did consider how satisfying it might feel to sit on a rooftop with a decent rifle and start shooting.
A crossbow would be even more effective, imagine the visual, 12" of aluminium bolt buried in the skull and just the fletching standing out from it...
I know, thinking of an act like that in terms of how it would look visually seems a little disturbing, but, hey! I'm some sort of frootloop with depression, why not play on it a bit.
We all know I'm not going to do something like that, for a start getting on a rooftop when you need a stick or crutches to walk is damn near impossible... Then there is carrying the crossbow and bolts, plus camera, lenses and a tripod to record it all for posterity... It's a bugger being disabled and a frootloop.
Of course I'm joking...
Except for how I felt, there really was a part of me spoiling for a fight, or an argument.
I was even prepared to have one online, all it took was a wander through IC's pages.
There are some great people who are members of this site. People I'm glad to know or have met, people who's posts I read and enjoy, and there are probably people who's posts I've never read who I would really enjoy talking to.
But, yes there's always a "but", within a minute of logging onto IC I yet again wondered how Tanos keeps going without either losing the will to live, or just pulling the plug.
I'm not sucking up to Tanos, I don't agree with everything he says or does, I doubt he gives a toss about my opinion anyway.
Anyway, I had a look through the blogs and boards, the horrendous poetry, the bad porn stories, the threads by people begging for attention, the hysteria, the squabbling and the childish foot stamping on Off Topic.
I Had to smile as I thought about Tanos poised like a cyber-sniper, the code of IC his rifle, the posts his telescopic sight, the enter button his trigger and a motto taped above his monitor, "Pour Encourage Les Autres".
