After looking back on my weekend and what a great weekend it was I thought I would write a little blog… yanno me by now...when ive got summot to say…I say it!
VE was such a wicked night….i was surrounded by people who were so self assured in them selves or their 'persuasions' whether that be Dominant/submissive or Top/bottom or any inbetween! They need not dress up to show this! The Doms didn't have to put on their scary 'dom uniform' and subbies didn't hav to show as much flesh as possible or wear THE best outfit. IMHO that's how it should be! I don't understand the immediate link from bdsm to fetish clothes. Ok….i can see that we like to look good…hey…I had my nice new dress on and it made me feel damn sexy! But why must places put on strict fetish dress codes for bdsm nights? (and im not implying VE did…cos I don't think it did!)
I'm not into bdsm so I can dress in pvc/leather/rubber…...or whatever…...i am in this scene because I am submissive (hey no arguments…I am honest) So if there is a man there…who is new on the scene and likes women to degrade him…or whatever..and he chooses to just wear his jacket and shoes….then obviously that is his kink…and so be it! Who are we to judge other people kinks/fetishes? If your in this scene JUST to dress up and look nice….so be it…maybe you'd rather stay at 'pretty' events like Torture Garden where they judge you on your outfit!
But for me…..well…thanks but no thanks…...i'd rather stay at the nights for people who like bdsm… the 'lifestyle' people…that's much my style…
And…just incase I hav offended you…...i will say again… this is just my opinion..in my blog…...im not belittling your kinks in any way…each to their own n all that!
