For those who have asked, and anyone else interested, here are the first batch of pics from my week in rain drenched Lancashire.

Skipton is a lovely charming market town. I can't agree about the castle - its pricey and kind of flat i.m.o.
The walk in the gorge behind the castle is quite good though and its free. Although I sometimes think its grim here in the north, if you get yourself up Pendle Hill the fresh air positively works as thoroughly as Popeye's spinach. Obsessed by women's buttocks and thighs in skin-tight scruffy, worn-out denim jeans. Backsides ripe for the cane. Come to me for mind-blowing pain, gain, relief, pleasure and fulfillment. It is a shame most of these attractions are pricey to get in.
The walk sounds nice though.
