Sometimes I do have problems talking to my Dom/bf
online. It's because online, people are more frugal
with their words and you can't see expressions. Also,
when there are long pauses in conversation I get
obscenely worried that he's thinking to long about how
to phrase what he wants to say next because it's going
to be something I won't want to hear. Most of these
pauses are due to his slow modem access which sometimes
cuts out, the fact that he's multitasking and that we
don't talk online until it's quite late and he's tired

My Dom doesn't order me to do D/s things online. I put on my webcam to tease or to show him some new toy that arrived for our upcoming weekend. I'm lucky in that I see my boy every weekend so we can sort out any questions that my have occurred. Also, if I'm in real doubt I'll just call him rather than wait for the weekend. It's amazing the things a short conversation can sort out!
