How did you become a domme? (65)

This post is on the Other BDSM web board.

I realised I was Domme shortly after I joined IC because that's the nearest label to my mindset.

Yes but it isn't work, finding the right buttons to press. Others minds. Compatability.

When I joined up on this website the Dom who pointed me towards this place warned me for the nasty replies and the childish behaviours. I thought he was just to sweet and I wouldn't mind. Strange though, cause I am starting to mind. He isn't even posting here anymore cause of it, I really hope that I can stick it out cause when sifting through tons of nasty bullshit replies there are actually posts here that I can learn from, which is why I'm here, as opposed to people who apperantly just here to display their 'wit' and 'popularity'.

As for this question:

Was just wandering how and when you became a dominatrix/mistress? Do you enjoy your work and have any special interests? Whats your favourite piece of equipment and what do you look for in your sub?

What is wrong with this question? Why would this thread be a non-starter? I think it's a valid question. Ofcourse there are a lot of people who just *know* that they are only dominant or submissive, but there are also people who start with an interest in kink in general and along the way discover that they are (mostly) dominant or submissive.

Apart from that.. notice how he states "work". Now all the professional dominants on here had to start being professional at one point.. how and when? Was it quite early in your sexual adult life or was it much later? What are your specialisations and what subs would you definately want as a client and what subs definately not?

Now tell me... what is wrong with these questions? Why being so nasty to the OP?

you tell 'em girl!

there is NOTHING wrong with the question ... it just offended some of IC's more senior wankabe's!

maybe if they spent less time cyber wanking, and more time actually doing real-life stuff they might actually have a bit of tolerance for newbies!

and trust me on this one ...I have absolutely NO APOLOGIES to the Muppet hecklers!

everyone in the BDSM community has to start somewhere ... FFS please can't we be a little bit tolerant!

perhaps helpful, tolerant advice from more senior REAL IC people would be more appropriate?

*edit* I'm trademarking the word 'wankabe'! IT'S MINE OK!

The irony here is that I've been spotted actually doing stuff a few times, where it's running workshops or performing. I'm now loggin out so I can log back in as my sockpuppet snotty and simply post 'PWNED!'.

then ... in the nicest possible smarmy, oily, ironic way ... why don't you offer to help newbies rather than act in a derotatory manner towards them???

enjoy m0nkey ... it says more about you/snotty and your obsession with Leet than it does about the OP!

go figure!

Less lulz. And sometimes being cruel to be kind really is the only way.

Yeah but to be fair the whole thread was a non-starter to begin with.

this is true ...

*edit to add* ... but give newbies a break please guys?

just because he isn't asking the questions you want answered doesn't mean that you have to heckle like something out of the bloody Muppets!

Not like the Muppets that was inteligent and funny
