Damn the NHS I need Penicillin!

I feel like I'm dying. I've felt this way for 8 days
now. This is not the flu. I know what's wrong with
me, I have sinusitis. You see, I used to suffer from
sinusitis yearly. That stopped when I began exercising
regularly. But because I am sensitive to this kind of
illness, when I get the flu or a cold I can easily
relapse.
My Dr. told me that because I had a low fever and was
only sick for 5 days, I could not have sinusitis. I
explained to her the only reason I had a low fever and
not a high one was the large amounts of paracetemol
being taken. For the past three days my symptoms have
progressed to include dizziness, hearing difficulties
and nose bleeds. I have called the NHS Helpline to ask
for a second opinion. I hope they will tell me there
is a way to switch Dr's in order to get the assistance
I need.
I don't even mind having to waste a few extra days
being ill as I understand the real dangers behind
oversubscribing drugs. What galls me is my Dr refused
to listen to my past medical history. She decided that
defects I am aware of with my body have no impact on my
current illness. Her logic defies reason.
I managed to make my munch on Saturday with the
assistance of nerophen, VapoRub, cough lozenges and my
boyfriend. Without him, it would have been cancelled.
I'm very lucky to have someone so supportive in my life.
The worst part of this illness isn't being sick. It's
not being able to take my Red Belt test in Tae Kwon
Do. I have been working toward this test for a year
and a half. Unless I can attend my lesson on Thursday,
which is very unlikely as I can barely walk down the
stairs of my flat, I will probably have to wait another
6 months for my next test. I am heartbroken.
