Q If you wished to collar or be collard and wanted it to be worn 24/7 what would you like it to be? I am not asking what it means to you. What I would like to know is what you think is a collar in physical terms. It could be any thing from a locket on a chain to a full leather collar. Just interested in you're thoughts. a simple ring or chain for those who cant wear the traditional collar all day due to work or such. a tattoo can be anything you want it to be i guess. as long as it suits both and you know what it means it can be as simple ss a peice of ribbon, its about state of mind too. i have collars for home etc and one for all the time thats never been taken off once since it was applied
it is better to ask forgivness, than to ask for permission

I'll send you a link to our website where we stock Eternity and Wraith collars. Either style can be worn 24/7 as (slightly) unusal jewellery, including to work. My girl does without comment and other friends do too, including in office environments. J&r

The one I have seen, and might possible use if ever I happen to collar someone, was a beautiful silver locket. In itself a pretty thing and wearable in any vanilla situation, but if you open it up you find a "statement of ownership" (in very small lettering, of course) on one side and a picture of the slavegirl in bondage on the other. A sort of "hidden expression" of what the locket really means. I gave my sub a simple thin round silver band with a free moving weave pattern 'ball' on the front. it is something she can wear all day as a nice piece of jewellery but the knot in the weave pattern signifies she is bound to me. P. Keep silent or expect vitriol.

being the sub would be male that i will be collaring then i would choose perhaps a ring simple but have engraved inside our names, a tattoo or a watch with the wording on the back of the watch again able to be worn in the vanilla world but the fact that each of us would understand the meaning to us both

I wear a celtic ring as my collar... the rope design symbolises bondage, and I wear it on my left hand ring finger as it is then a very recognisable statement of being in a relationship. kx Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. - Will Smith in 'Hitch'

There is a lot to be said for managing expectations.

personally I have two chains, both witht he same symbol as pendants (the celtic symbol for eternity) one is a black and green enamal one, the other silver with a crystal hanging from it... sort of a normal every day one, and a posh one, that way it doesn't matter what I'm wearing it will fit in I also have a thin leather collar for wearing at more fet or goth type events maybe it's just me with a dirty mind then....

really tricky as there are sometimes when i simply can't wear things like chains, i think something small and metal but with a ring a leash could be attached to Thus I clothe my naked villainy with old odd ends taken forth from holy writ and do seem a saint when most I play the Devil! Shakespeare |
