Many thanks

I don't mean to be critical, so I shall start by saying I loved the floating thumbnails which came with the full-size images... But .. but .. the aspect ratio on the images on the portfolio page you link to are really not very good, they don't flatter your models at all. Steve | |

Thanks for the speedy fixup. But that doesn't solve the problem - the issue isn't that the four images are too small, but that the aspect ratio is wrong. It is most obvious on the left-most image, but also present on the other three. If you look at the girl on the left the image appears "stretched" it is too high for the width. The actual source image is this one: http://www.synthetik-lens.com/gallery1/lib001.JPG That image is fine, but it has a size of 640x426 pixels. The "resized" version is 200x250 pixels. That means that you've shrunk the width by about 30%, but the height has been shrunk by almost 60% - that means the model looks "squished". If you want to resize the image to about 200 wide then you'll need to leave the height at about 30% of 426pixels, or 127. I hope that helps and isn't overly pedantic. Steve |
