I've recently found out that a member of my family uses this site.
Not as a member, rather as a guest, and not with any vested interest in the scene but instead to pry, trail and scrutinize what I do in my private life.
I am very open with what I do, both with friends and family, because I don't feel I'm do anything wrong or sick, but I was specifically asked to keep the scene away from some people because it was mutually decided that they wouldn't be able to handle the idea that their ways are not the only ways.
To be fair, it must be a huge shock to find out that someone close to them is an evil, depraved, vicious, abusive and an inherrently evil person... But I'm dumbfounded that anyone could think those negative assumptions of me after having known me and the person I am for my entire life.
It really gets to me when people decide what D/s is based on ignorance and media pushed stereotypes.
C'est la vie.

How immature for someone to bother doing that. Must hold some fascination for them other than cyber stalking you...maybe they are still in the closet?

That's sad to hear. I trust that upon reading all about your 'sordid little sexual deviance' they've found themselves nothing but completely reassured from reading your posts and weblogs. What's *really* sad is that you've always been so open about yourself, and would (i suspect) have been only too happy to answer questions or explain things if someone had just taken the time to ask. I'm really sorry to hear that, how childish of them. I hope that they come around soon, and in doing so don't think any less of you because you are into the D/s scene. I am puzzled as to how they found you, and why they are prying, perhaps, as someone said in an earlier post they haven't come out the closet yet? Interesting read.. I must say I have always wondered how some of my family and friends may take to my views, thoughts and feelings about this lifestyle. Luckily havent had to find out yet. Keep your head up son. As long as your happy then what does it matter. BP |
