I've had absolutely amazing, fantastically intense, deeply (and mutually) rewarding, and undamaging, scenes when there's been loads of alcohol involved. Only done it of course with people I absolutely trust, and who absolutely trust me, but I know we got to places we wouldn't have got to straight

Interesting.

Why do you think that you wouldn't have got to those places without the assistance of alcohol?

For the same reasons it's a handy drug in other circumstances - encourages adventure, releases inhibitions, creates a sense of conviviality and warmth etc, plus, as someone mentioned much earlier, it does increase pain tolerance (being an aneasthetic), and it's helped me get to places I may have wimped out on without a bit of mother's little helper, places I'm glad to have gone to. If that makes no sense to you at all, then I won't persuade you.

No ones knocking it, just having their views..

Notice the love of spesh??

I do agree on some points though - if i was sub, i wouldnt want to be controlled by someone i didnt know, who wasnt 100% in control of themselves...

If i knew them on the other hand, crack out the brews!!

But, with rope bondage, knife play etc.. one slip and youre fucked - worth the risk?

If we play, one or the other may have a couple, but never enough to become "out of it".

The ironic thing is I've witnessed others at clubs taking things that are somewhat more mind altering and also illegal; then going up to play. I would rather have a couple of beers and play rather than trying it completely ripped off my t*ts.

All hail Zoidberg, saviour of the Universe!

Some of my prime sessions has been carried out while pissed out of my face. What it takes away in precision is added in lack of restraint, not that that is usually much of a problem anyway.

I won't judge other people's choices, but mine is not to do anything to anyone if I've had enough alcohol to affect me. I won't do things to others without their consent given while sober.

We have long sessions where play is intermixed with chat and lunch. We share a bottle of wine and I have a can of beer and then we play gently in the afternoon. We know each other well and I don't see any problems with this at all.

For me the day is about enjoying myself with someone who is important to me. The drink is not there to enhance the play; it's just a nice thing to have when you are eating and talking with a good friend

Personally, I wouldn't want alcohol to be involved at all if I was playing with someone I didn't know

I find that it depends on the situation. If I'm at a club and playing casually or just exercising my power over a sub, a bit of alcohol is fine, but if I'm doing anything really delicate like whipping or breathplay I normally wouldn't. I find that a white wine spritzer in a large wine glass in my hand when I am draped over a velvet- covered chez lounge in a long black skirt and corset tends to give a certain effect....

How much do you think is too much, and why?

If life were made of moments then you'd never know you had one.

What a load of bloody goody-goods you all are! (Smiley winky stupid icon if you need it). ........... I'd say the only areas other stimulation should be avoided are those which are of themselves life threatening - asphyxiation, cutting, edge stuff.

So alcohol ruins the real fun then! (Smiley, winky stupid icon required)

I'm not sure I like folk that feel the need for a signature.
