Piercings? (46)

OK.... I've just read a thread on the boards about labia piercings and I have a couple of questions, hopefully some of you will give me some informed answers.
It has been suggested that I might consider having some inner-labia piercings done and possibly even have my clitoris-hood pierced.
I'm seriously considering having some sort of piercing done but would love to know your experiences of them.
In the thread I just read it has also been mentioned that there may be some discomfort when riding a bike - is this a possibility? It seems to me that if the hardware in the labia is small enough, when riding a bike, it would not be overly uncomfortable.
So, what about a clitoris-hood piercing? Does it "get in the way" of doing normal, everyday activities? Will I be having orgasms all over the place? (Lol... not that I don't now!!! )
Which of the 2 piercings is the most difficult for the "piercer" to do? How does he/she know it is in the right place for you?
I look forward to reading some informed replies.

i shall be watching this avidly as I'm getting psyched up to have 5 'down there' so DM can add a padlock lol
and i dont ride a bike so thankfully thats not a problem if your parents never had children, the chances are that you won't either
You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

Clit piercing depends on your clit size too. You need to have one thats fairly prominent for them to be able to do properly
check out this site...some good info.

I've got my clit hood piercing since last August (I think...)
here's a link to my experience:
http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/10-female/hood/A60...
I had the ring changed to a bar in December, and ohhhhh how much better that felt for wanking!
I can only highly recommend this piercing, it does not get into the way at all, it's tucked away nicely - and feels so nice
edit to add: if you want to read more experiences about inner labia or clit hood piercings, have a read here on BME: http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/10-female/hood/ind...
PS: you won't get many piercers doing a clit piercing as you've got to have a really large clit and even then the risk is too high to lose all sensation -------------------------------------------

Thank you for some great links and all of your comments.
For those of you who seem to be a little concerned about me having my clitoris pierced....I don't intend having that done, only the hood.
All of the responses I've had, both here and via PM, have been positive about these piercings.... thank you, I feel much happier about what I am about to have done.
Lol.... I have just spoken to my partner and I asked him which one he would prefer me to have done.... Ummmmm, it looks like I'm going to have BOTH; inner-labia AND a clitoris-hood piercing!!
Will be making some enquiries about finding a reputable local piercer tomorrow!!

I myself have no experience of piercings, but Maria from Hades has lots of experience and information I'm sure she will share with you. As an ex-scrub nurse I'm always impressed with her standards when she does any needle or medical play and she is up to date with the latest health and hygiene rules and regs.
Who do you intend to do this for you? A professional Piercer or a person on the scene? If the latter, please be careful to check qualifications. There are some, who will tell you that they have them, but infact have none!! So beware!!
I hope when you get them done, you enjoy them and have some fun....lol!!
Good luck xx

Thank you.
My partner knows "Maria Hades" (as he calls her) very well but, sadly, I have not met her yet, though I hope to meet her very soon.
I intend to find a professional piercer, I would not trust just anyone with my "bits"!!!
