A follow on from my happy blog about the gorgeous week I had with my D in florida. It truly was bliss and at the time it felt like we had escaped into a slice of heaven, a different world. As usual though we had to return to the real world and with that comes all the normal crap.
This time though it seems as though some recording angel was watching and decided to give us the other side of the coin.
Since returning my D has had some issues at home and with work that have meant that he is extra busy and so we havent been able to meet up.
Even worse, I took my kids to Drayton manor for the weekend, to a nice hotel with pool, to make up for leaving them for a week. (yeah daft how guilty I feel when I leave them). While at Drayton, on a water ride my daughter was verbally attacked and physically assaulted, ended up with us spending the evening with the police and so the relaxing weekend turned into a nightmare. We staggered back into the house late on sunday breathing a sigh of relief and determined to just get back on with normal life.
My youngest then went riding on her beloved horsey on monday night, a boy racer startled the horse and she came off onto a road. I spent a loooong night at the hospital monday and finally got to bring her home late on tuesday. I discovered that my daughter knows the most foul language, as she was concussed she kept asking the same five questions over and over, swearing like a trouper and being verbally aggressive. I was amazed, scared and to be honest amused. She is a quiet little thing normally and to hear her bleeping about nobody putting needles into her while telling me she loved me, and where the bleep was she was another world all together.
So anyway, I hope the angels, the ying and yang, the sods law, the hmmm I know what I am trying to say but cant think (think sleep deprived) has finished with us now.
I would like to say I will never be norty again and escape with my gorgeous man but I cant.
