Cholula is in hospital (46)

Cho had a serious asthma attack in the early hours so off we went in the ambulance at around 2am and he was admitted onto a ward at about 4am. He's much more comfortable than he was - his peak flows have risen slowly through the past couple of hours but are still very low, so they're doing regular nebulisers and he's on a steroid drip. He's going to be in there for at least a couple of days, poor darling.

They just told me that he's now sleeping so I'm going to try to get to sleep myself and I'll post a progress report later and will gladly pass any messages on.

Have to say that the ambulance got here amazingly quickly. The crew, the A&E staff, the doctor and ward staff could not have been swifter, more efficient, informative and re-assuring than they were.
