Now me having weird dreams is not at all unusual, in fact it's a fairly regular occurrence.
i don't keep a record of them or anything but i have told J when i have them and He agrees they're just plain weird. There was one about a hamster and a washing machine, and one about me being in another woman's body (no not like that.. dirty buggers!) and feeling what it was like to be a lot older, looking in the mirror and seeing some stranger staring back... totally freaky.
Anyway the one i had last night was so vivid and real i just kinda felt i wanted to write it down.
The surroundings weren't too clear, except that i was outside and it was warm weather. i got bitten on the end of my right index finger by an insect, it happened quickly, as these things do, and i didn't spot what type of insect it was. My finger bled a lot and immediately started to swell, and swell, and swell. i could visibly see it swelling it happened that fast and felt like it was literally going to explode. The weird thing was i could feel it.
i ran around trying to get help from other people, but other people were also getting bitten left right and centre. It became evident that the insect(s) responsible had some kind of long proboscis that literally sawed into the flesh and left a large slit.
Someone said it was something to do with the weather patterns and global warming and that it had happened a few years earlier.
Then i got bitten again.. this time on the arm and we saw the insect... it had huge, white, lacy type wings, very intricate and i watched it sawing into my arm! Then, i woke up.
i haven't been bitten recently and i didn't watch anything on TV about insects or global warming.
So what do ya reckon? Go easy on the cheese? ![]()

To see insects in your dream, signifies minor obstacles that you must overcome. There are small problems and annoyances that need to be dealt with. Something or someone may be "bugging" or "pestering" you. Alternatively, insects are also said to be symbolic of precision, alertness, and sensitivity. You may need to organize your thoughts and sort out your values. Sometimes they are seen as divine messengers. http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/ ~ A promise is a promise, at least that's what they say... Welcome to reality, they're broken everyday ~ | |
