I am a journalist who works primarily on the web and as such my name, when googled, brings up a lot of links. The last thing I want to do is give people information about my private life, something which is personal to me and shouldn't interact at all with my work life. It is also something which could harm me when going for jobs later in life. Thus there are not and will never be any pictures of me up here, certainly not of my face. | |

We shouldn't need to hide our faces, however.... recently someone unknown to me lifted my photos off IC and posted them as his sub on slavefarm.com. Fortunately an IC friend stumbled across them, pointed it out to us, Master wrote to slavefarm and the person's profile there was deleted immediately. So now, no photos with my face showing. This is one site that would really benefit from a feature I've seen on some dating sites where you can flag pictures as 'for friends only' and then chose who sees the pictures (eg. people in your network or those you have bookmarked).

I would have no problem posting what I or Master looks like on this site, the only thing we worry about is how open it is
Maybe if this was a private site, much like a yahoo closed group type thing, then I would put a pic up of myself, but not while anyone can wander in and have a look. Until then, you'll have to make do with my bum!! But if it becomes a closed group, then that in itself takes away our freedom, and our thoughts about the fact that there is nothing wrong with us slave
