I don't like being a judge, juror or executioner as I believe that no person has the right to be so. Here's a little story to illustrate that..
A poor boy who had stolen a loaf of bread because he was starving was in prison and going to be hanged. On his last day he said to the Jailor,
"take me to the king, I have something that will interest him."
So the Jailor took the thief towards the King where the thief brought the seed of an apple tree out of his pocket.
"Your Majesty, the seed is magical. It can grow overnight into a big apple tree. However .... it must be planted by someone who has done nothing wrong. Which of you can do that?"
The King would have liked to plant it himself but when he as a boy he had stolen his father's favourite watch and never returned it.
The Treasurer would have also liked to but he had often dipped his grimy paw into the cash till.
It went on like this until they realised none of them could plant the seed. The thief who had stolen a loaf of bread he was hungry was set free.
And who gets to throw the first stone?
