For my birthday, my sister got me....
...one of those 'benches'....you know....the sort you see in parks and at various spots in the street. "I'll assemble it for you"......right.
There was her and the fucking rabbits owner. "how do these bolts and washers go on?"
I assembled an example for 'em....told 'em "easy.....bolt goes through the slat; then the washer goes on; then the sprug-washer goes on; then the nut.....alright?"....AND there was a diagram as well.
A while later, "finished"...we turn it upright....it 'shakes'.....it shakes quite badly.....it shakes MORE than I did, when I was given a 'hand-job' in 2nd year of secondry school. Despite all the instruction, and the example, and the diagram.....ALL the bolts washers and nuts have been assembled in wrong order.....will have to do the whole fucking thing again!
" Wots it matter?....all the bolts and washers are ON there....and it aint rocking TOO much...."
(tsk!)..."LOOK.....there's a diagram for christsake!"
"oh yeah......we wondered about that...."
I didn't go spare, as it was a present etc......sometimes I'm just SO reserved.
Nothing else to be said.......for the moment.

oh, has nothing to do with gender. My bf has two left hands when it comes to assembling Argos or Ikea stuff. It's always me who has to finish it (ok, nowadays I don't even let him near that stuff as I do it in no time, whilst he would take days to assemble a simple cupboard lol) ------------------------------------------- This is the Island of Zombie Women Edited 14 Apr 07, 7:28 PM by Sinmara

LOL, not all women are rubbish at putting things together. Some men are 10 times worse than that, and boy do they hate it when a woman a) points out where they went wrong and b) can take apart what they have done and put it back together in a fraction of the time they have been messing about CMC Adverts FREE to use fetish classified site for new and used, buy, sell, swap or wanted items.
