Over the past year and a half we have had our ups and downs, downs being having to shut the club for a few months after they decided to dig under the foundations of the building next door! ups being lots of new people now come to the club on a regular basis due to our club being one of the friendliest i know of.
I am sorry if out club wasn't to your liking. Over the next few months we are starting to change a few things and sort things out as the money we have saved up will be going to good causes , we have had the thought of new play equipment in our minds for a while but we all know this isnt cheap. I do get bored of seeing the same equipment as im sure you do using it! I have spoke to the manager of the club and we need suggestions as to what play equipment would be most popular pleas reply with ideas!! I never saw anyone with cameras there we don't have eyes on the back of our head so please do tell us! I don't know why people do this as it spoils it for others The people that run the club now is Anthony with the dreds and Me (emma) with rapid changing colour of hair. And Andy as the DM and very helpful loyal friend. And there are always the bar staff to ask if help is needed and the manager is in in disguise. People do not realise how many things there are to think about when running a club thats why we are friendly and people will come and tell us if its too cold, hot, music too loud or quiet, and it some cases the tables are arranged wrong! funny one! So we are open to insult and of course compliments! Personally i love Afterlife and have always found it very friendly. I can't make it as often as i'd like, but there's not many places you can be involved in an intense scene then get to dance to Rammstein while you recover. firstly -the door gets shut downstairs at 11 so noone can just wander in.
Secondly -there were two bouncers and the manager both in the club that night plus CCTV on the door and in the club itself.
Thirdly-one would assume the person on the door has some involvement with the club so any compliments or complaintes, or worries you had you should have found her one would have thought???This puzzles me why you did not confront her .....(her by the way being ME) Fourthly-Political matters that should be kept private are that the guy i run it with (yes mike name and shame) decided not to inform me that he wasnt fucking running it anymore , which i found out off the manager at 9.15 on sat night. So i was left to do it all myself with a bit of help until someone else arrived later on. i apologize if sometimes things dont go right and stuff isnt attended to asap but give us a break. ita a club.I dont see any money for running the club its done so people can enjoy themselves and taking abuse from people isnt nice when done in public Fifthly-Any problems or pervious encounters with the DM should have been reported to me so I actually know about these things and can take appropriate action. Sixthly- If you dont like the cross over between people dancing and having fun AND playing then maybe you should consider ringing the organisers first to ask what the club is like, instead of posting damaging bulletins that are potraying your taste in club. The fetish scens in not massive and our club is run as none profit making , any money we manage to save from the may i point out CHEAP enterance fee is being put into new play equipment and improvements. People should be helping the fetish scene grow not shrinking it. I am hurt that you put matters like this in public

unfortunately the club just wasn't to this guys taste.... but instead of keeping his opinions to himself and passing them on privately to yourselfs he is making them public.... in my own opinion this matter is closed.... the club is still as always as excellent as ever. and will continue to get my support. and indeed if any help is needed don't hesitate to contact me.... there is a big difference between constructive criticism and harmful criticism.... unfortunately this is trying to be the latter.... keep up all of the good work PLEASE.... it is REALLY appreciated!! butch Edited 15 Apr 07, 11:39 PM by BikerButch | |

Fetish_faerie – no offence but you seem to have taken things personally. You say TAKING ABUSE FROM PEOPLE ISN'T NICE WHEN DONE IN PUBLIC. I'd like to ask you this then “Have you got something to hide?” As for Saturday night when we left the club there was no-one to be found that was a staff member at the table where YOU toke the money. Why should somebody (that somebody being me) have to go and tell every tom, dick and harry what has gone on when the other person that it involves had said that he wouldn't let what happened last year interfere when we both happened to be attending the same club(s). Yes I know silly me for taking his word for it, maybe I'll ask for it in writing next time I see him. Besides what action could you take other then not letting me in the club as I think he was the only dm at the club that night he was the only one seen anyway. Maybe we should have phoned the organisers first but we decided to ask people that we know go to afterlife monthly rather than asking staff as we would get more of an objective view. Maybe you should look at raising the price of the entrance fee a little bit so that you can at least afford to maintain your existing play equipment along with other areas of the club previously pointed out by my partner gunslinger007.
