Saturday 21st April - London U35 Munch (31)

It is this week. I am not sure whether I will be going along to Hades as well afterwards. Are there people intending to come along to both the U35 and Hades by some chance?

I am hoping to beable to get to both events this saturday. Not to sure about hades at the mo, but will be at the U35 Munch.

Ah the London Marathon. Well its more or less over by early afternoon. Also I believe it is sponsored by Flora now.

Indeed, it should be over by 5pm at the latest I suppose, giving even the slowest competitor something like 7 hours to run the course.

Having said that, unless someone's short cut goes horribly wrong, nothing should really affect the streets close to Warren Street, even spectator-wise !

I am sure that Mars were involved at some level, giving out the silver sheets at the end of the race and possibly some glucose related sweet or drink for those stumbling over the line .

I just liked the idea of Mars helping the Marathon. It made me snigger, or is that snicker ? Anyway, there is the joke, I am appalled at myself and at my humour but still . . . I can't help myself !

The Munch is on Saturday. The Marathon is on Sunday.

Maybe someone should post one of those 'You won't get laid at a munch' type things, just to manage expectations sort of thing.
