I remember the last "Le Cage" in that part of the world. I hope this one fares better than that one :)

the las one was subject to Arson

I always believe that if the person running it knows what they are doing it will be successful.

Youre attempt to say I dont know what I am doing?

Unfortunately La Cage original wasn't. One wonders if La Cage Moderne will be?

I don't think that using a hotmail account for something as precarious as this is a good idea.

Hotmail is as good as any other server, and also means the club could be added to messengers is people should so wish it

I have a few questions...

Is there a webiste?

for the club or for Le Cage?

Who are the Dungeon Monitors?

there are several.

Are they first aid trained with current certificate?

the DM's are first aiders as are the club owners

Is that glass roof safe?

the roof will hold 6 ton

Is it warm?

and comfortable

Why not alcohol, what is stopping it?

I have never held with play and alcohol together and would not promote it, though each to their own

Is this a swingers club other times?

day times its a massage place...night times a swingers club..once a month..bdsm

What other equipment is there?

to discover that you would have to visit

Chance to plug it now to its best qualities... go for it.

Well, yessss it was subject to arson, but it wasn't doing well before that was it, and this wasnt anyones fault as I understand the heating wasnt brill?

So how much is it? Whats it going to cost? and do you have to be a member?

The space does look rather nice and I reckon it will take off! Here is wishing you all the best with it Excalliber.

I would like to go on the record as saying, Any problems that the original Le Cage had were NOT in any way your fault. In fact without your hard work and unbelievable dedication the place would have closed far sooner. When you were unable to attend due to an unfortunate accident things fell apart until you returned to work. Any problems there were due to an unfortunate lack of communication between the real owner and the staff which was in no way your fault.

I spent many happy hours there and I know that your commitment and expertise will make the new event a great success.

Best of luck,

John

Excalibur, I have just re-read your previous posts, and would like to clarify and sincerely apologise. I hadn't seen your responses as they are mixed in the same white box as mine.

On referring the handling of the old Le Cage, I wasn't in fact referring to yourself and putting any blame on you for its failure. I believe you to be a very competent host. I know how hard you worked on the old La Cage, I know what effort you put in promoting it, and I know the times that we did have while YOU was running it where good ones and fun ones.

I was referring in general, a point I would like to stress, to the times that you hadn't got ultimate control, a period of time you had away from the club and the response you received when trying to better the club which the “owners” and “ones who said they where owners and stand in hosts” who did not back you up with what you had explained was needed to make it successful.

Your other answers to the questions I asked where fully answered, it's obviously you have this fine tuned, and your price of £10 is incredibly reasonable. As I said in a previous post, I wish you well, I am VERY sorry, for my apparent rudeness and I hope to be able to attend at some point.

I know the place (yes, I've been there swinging). It's on 2 levels, a lot larger than selecta, which is not to criticise selecta, where I've had some very enjoyable evenings too and shall be going on Saturday after the Phoenix Munch, and the newly installed bdsm equipment looks excellent... you'll get a much better idea of the facilities from the website

http://www.partners2partners.co.uk/index2.htm

but, of course, it's the people who go who'll make it a great night ... so come on, folks, give it a try, you have nothing to lose but your chains. Seriously, I think it could take off... cheers for what you've done Ex.

Just a couple of other points -

from below the glass roof is a glass ceiling (lol) so those below can look up at what's happening above, of course...

Finally, just to be clear - I think I'm right in saying that the is club going to be open to swingers as well as people who mention Le Cage?

I had no idea that Excalibur had anything to do with the running of the 'old' La Cage. I was referring only to the fact that it burned, and nothing else. We managed to attend it twice, I think, and enjoyed both visits immensely. It was a nice set up.

We plan to also get to the new one, when we can.
