All it would need is a trembler switch fitted to one of the leads hmm will look at my Maplins catalogue and will post a circuit

assuming your tens has a 2mm socket you will need a 2mm socket maplins part HF47B 2mm Socket Red £0.99 and a 2mm plug HF41U 2mm Plug Red £0,59 plus a suitable container eg a film cannister and a short length of wire the final part is a tilt switch DP50E Mini Tilt Switch £1.91 cut two small holes in the container to hold the plug and socket solder a short length of wire to both the socket and the plug then solder the wire from the socket to one leg of the switch and the plug to the other leg plug in the tens with the new unit on one of the connections to the tens adjust the angle of the switch until the tens turns on when the container is moved and strap the container to your sub edited to explain about connecting the tens DOH Job done have fun Edited 19 Mar 07, 6:32 PM by Druid_ian

If i'm reading this right the unit described above will trigger the tens unit until the sub moves the container back to the original position. Without checking Maplins I'm pretty sure there's another way to do it, to deliver a short burst then " reset " until it's moved again. The overall difference is to deliver short, measured punishments for -any- movement or a variable duration punishment until the sub gets back to "how I bloody well told you to lie/stand/sit". Wish i could picture the circuit though... transistors may be involved... JEx (putting down the flogger to pick up a screwdriver. Calm down dear, it won't hurt. Much)

you could wire a transister to hold the circuit open for a while but the circuit as described will activate only whilst movement is taking place (after the unit moves more than 10deg from the off position) as soon as movement ceases and the unit returns to a horizontal angle the unit will switch off Edited 19 Mar 07, 6:52 PM by Druid_ian

Ask The Prof! It's going to be based on a mercury tilt switch I reckon. As for sounds try Brain Sound Studio, http://www.transparentcorp.com/products/bss/
It's a demo that won't do saves if I recall, but you can record the output onto a cassette recorder You are as safe as you want to be...but no safer

I'm asking this because we have recently aquired a TENS, and I am thinking of trying something similar using mercury tilt-switches to control a set of relays, and the instructions stress that one should always attach the contact pads before switching on the unit. I know it's not the same risk of damage as shorting out the contact pads, but so might there be any chance of damaging your TENS unit by having the control chip and sender circuits powered up whilst the output is open-circuit?
