Well what a lovely night we had. Lots of good (and bad! ) people with friendly chat and a wonderful atmosphere of fun and laughter. Thank you to BV and cerbie for all the effort they put into last night, and remember- it was all for chariteeee!
We saw lots of folks we hadn't seen for ages, so it was great to catch up again. There were so many ladies in varying stages of undress that I didn't know where to look- spoilt for choice! lol.
Himself worked out how many hundreds of raffle tickets I helped to fold and it seemed an awful lot! That's what happens when you have such a pretty lady selling the tickets Goodness has it's own reward though, and I managed to win a box of chocs, yay!
We were having so much fun that we only had a short play, which was lovely and yukky at the same time. Funny how some positions are just no good for a heavy cane- it rattles my bones too much and makes me feel sick. Lovely when it stops though And I still haven't worked out how pinwheels can tickle and hurt at the same time. I reckon my nervous system is all confused, poor thing!
My personal award for the best play of the night went to the leather family for a wonderful demo in how to bring up fabulous welts. I have to say Himself and I watched with fasination. Such tender loving care and attention, ouch! That had to hurt. I did wonder if the lady in question would have to spend the weekend sitting very upright and not leaning back in her chair!
I love to watch others play because you learn so much, not only the good stuff, and how to adapt certain aspects of another's scene into our own playtime but also what not to do. Yes, we all make mistakes, the trick is to learn from them.
So today I'm all cheery and despite having been to the gym already, I'm still frisky! There are a few snapshots in my head from last night, so many thanks to all who provided them!
