I took 'Fun Fashion' to Scarlets last night. It was the first time I had been there as the previous month it had to be cancelled due to snow, so I was really looking forward to finally getting there.
Was I disappointed...? Absolutely NOT! I think it is a great venue, with the staff being really friendly. We set up our *reduced* stall in the garden (not sure why it is called that as it's in doors and quickly started to make new friends as people came over and introduced themselves.
I personally love the fact they have a dance floor and the music was spot on. A great mix of up to date sounds and some old classics that blended and complimented each other.
Anything negative...? Well, yeah, but then nothing is perfect. I did have a couple of drinks disappear, which to start with I put down to someone being sly handed and stealing them. Apparently the bar staff do pick up unattended drinks and basically throw them down the plug hole as a safety measure against spiking. With this knowledge, next time I will finish my drink before leaving it unattended or leave it with a friend to over lool. As they say, 'knowledge is power!'.
Will I go there again...? Absolutely and as they seem to be looking at opening regulary once a month now that is my intention too. www.funfashion.co.uk will be there selling mainly hosiery and accessories, but if there is anything off the site anyone would like to purchase, feel free to request that I bring it a long. Please give as much notice as possible to ensure it arrives with me in time if I need to order it in.
