I think it very much depends on the type of play offered and the length of the session. Calling someone "sir" and getting a light spanking for 10 minutes is probably going to be far cheaper than enduring the torture of a thousand cuts with a rusty bread-knife, or whatever. Heavy, risky, disgusting or hard-to-organise scenes will be something that many people don't do and therefore its a seller's marker. For the record, when I used to be a pro I would charge about 4 times more to take any given punishment than I charged to do it to someone else. | |

Yeah- I'm with you on a ton an hour. I think you might expect to consider £400 for an evening, (that's 8-12), an extra £100 for overnight, all taxi travel reimbursed and refreshments/entertainments expected.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. | |

I've no knowledge or experience of this but it occurrs to me that there are few people, surely, that can afford to do this, other than perhaps for the purposes of film production!? I'm not in any way suggesting that professional subbing services are not worth it- (It'd have to be closer to £1000 per hour before I'd consider pro-subbing)but who can afford to pay somone this kind of money!? This is the bullshit line...only cross it if you must. | |

Hello. Haven't used the boards before, so bear with me if something goes wrong. I suppose I probably fall into the higher end of the bracket, but then I operate a kind of sliding scale, and I also have regular e-mail sweepstakes and bonanzas for my regular clients. One thing that might be bearing in mind is that a Dom might not want to be presented with a pro-sub who's still bruised and marked from a previous encounter, so we need time to recover. That means that there are times when we might be out of action for up to a week, maybe more, so the rate we charge reflects that. | |

I agree with absolutly everything you've said, Dita. I too suppose I'm at the top of the market, I offer a sliding scale type thing (accomodating submissive types that we are) and am carefull not to turn up to a dom with marks from a previous session, which would seem the hight of disrespect to me. I also find I need a lot of time (days, in fact) to come down from an intense session. Another thing I've noticed is that many people seem to be talking about pro subbing in the context of sessions with a pro Domme, as opposed to working alone, where there are greater saftey issues/stress and where we ourselves have found our clients as opposed to the Domme doing all the pre session work and just calling us in. Full, honest, and heartfelt submission which is what I try my very best to offer, is to be highly prized I feel and my rates reflect that. | |

I wouldn't mind working with a pro-Dom/me, but again, they wouldn't have to take as much time off after a session. Then you have to negotiate over who gets paid what, who was responsible for the booking, what kind of scene it's going to be, etc, etc,... | |

I used to pro Dom as a guy offering CP and discipline to gay men. I charged £50 per hour but kept being messed about with by timewasters. The last time I advertised the advertising costs outweighed the income I got and I gave it up. I think the fact that I can't accommodate, I could only travel to the client killed it as it seems no-one wants to invite a Dom into their home or pay an extra charge for a hotel room. I've put the £ sign on my profile now but I'm not actively advertising merely in case someone wants to hire me. Some local pro subs! One of the busiest in Hull charges £175 p. hr for age play, there's a sliding scale down to about £50 for a short session it seems. What fascinates me in Hull is the amount of pro subs to pro dommes compared to other places. £80 for up to 4 hrs play, that's a bargain. I've a male sub who up and till recently had a job finding any pro domme he liked to spank him for under £70 for a 60-90 minute session. Either women punters are better at haggling fees or male doms are using bargain rates to enjoy topping as many as possible? Or just its harder to find a female pro?
