What can I say? For the press to lower itself to having any interest in what someone is doing on IC who is not in the public eye, suggests a very, very poor news day. I'm flabbergasted that this has made a single column inch in any newspaper anywhere. I wouldn't have thought it was worthy of a line in the local "kink-ulike" monthly let alone a national newspaper. It's definitely not 'news' and compared to what x-celeb did in bed with x-celeb it's not even titiltion. I'm struggling to work out what exactly they are hanging this story on. Charity worker likes kinky sex - big deal! Having the read the story I still can't see what there is to get excited about - I can only assume Paris Hilton wasn't available for a photo-shoot that day. It would be interesting if they targetted one of their own. I wonder how many journalists are on 'IC' not because they are looking for a story, but because they are looking for a fix?

What you, I or anyone else choose to do in private or as a private activity is our business. For some sordid little rag and two-bob hack to make money off is a shameful and craven act. In her pathetic missive, Page says her victim "claims" not to make money from her BDSM interest. I don't whether she does and frankly I don't care. But we know for sure the shameless Page does, and I for one hope she chokes on every hypocritical penny of her ill-gotten gains. I'd just lurve to see Page's personal life sprawled all over tomorrow's chip paper. |
