I think its time I straightened the record here..I have again this morning recieved a memo [ yes I do get them] suggesting that we are still living in the Dark Ages up here. May I bring to your attention the following facts..

There is hydro in Orkney..I do have a power shower and a flush loo..People do have teles, videos and dvd players.. Water is piped to the homes... altho' I do still have a well.. I know how to work a washing machine/tumble dryer/dishwasher

And as you can see I do have broadband

Anyone else who wants to heap what-sits on my doo-daa maywell get a visit from my goats Just because my thingys aren't as jigglypuffed as your laa-laa's don't mean my fiddly things won't react exactly like yours..So There !!!

Goes to put kettle on

Oh dear that just goes to prove that this girl lives in the Dark ages as we don't have any of the mentioned within 2 miles of us, some are about 20miles away ikea even futher *smiles*

We don't have any of these.. [we do have a Lidl tho' 25 miles away by ferry]
