I often get asked to do rope workshops and demos - that's nice. I like attending them and I like doing them. I think workshops on all sorts of things are valuable and I always learn something.
I was asked to do 7 back in November and I'm often asked to do 3 or 4. I'm usually at a munch at the time or in a club whacking someone with a big stick and so I always say the same thing ... 'Certainly, but memo/email me the details so I can plan it around my kids weekends' etc. Then I often forget about it and get on with what ever I'm doing 
Often there is no follow up. I assume therefore that it was just a passing thought and perhaps it will be followed up the next time we bump into each other.
Sometimes plans go ahead and I still haven't heard anything. The assumption seems to be made that I can be there.
Now as I say, I like workshops, and I'm pleased to be asked. I'll do it if I can and I dont want people to assume otherwise but please 'keep me in the loop' and drop me a line from time to time.

Yeah its nice to have some consideration really, at least people know now . |
