WHAT AM I ?
Curled up tight or stretched out wide, Roaming free or tightly tied, Walking tall or brought to knees, Made to work or made to please.
In-roads opened or sealed tight, Left in darkness or given light, Freedom of speech or muffled voices, Dictated to or given choices.
Body violated and needs ignored, Despite whispered mercy implored, Treated kindly or thrashed hard, Offered help or all rights barred.
Fed, watered or starved, drowned. Softly spoken to or denied sound. Left smiling, left crying Left buzzing, left dying.
Solitary confinement or Company allowed, Head held high Or always bowed.
A heap on the floor, Feeling worthless and used, All resistance futile, Then further abused.
Or cared for and kissed, “sweet nothings” you say, Stroked and caressed, As “spooning” we lay.
Objects used For pleasure or pain, A feather, soft fur A whip or a cane.
Tickled or slapped, Tortured or teased, Pinched or stroked, Punished or pleased.
Such indecision, Now cant you tell, What am I?……. I'm in Heaven and Hell
