My lovely daughter no 2, who has been beset with learning difficulties all her life, and health problems too over the last few years, has just won LifeTime Learners of the Year Achivement award....Shes got champagne..a lovely award, to keep in cut glass, and shes going to be on TV and radio...
Shes 41 this may so no youngster.Im am proud beyond all saying......

Wonderful news.
I work with people with learning difficulties and see how hard they work to do things for themselves that people without learning difficulties take for granted as everyday "stuff". One of the hardest things to see is the lack of confidence engendered by the way people regard their abilities; one of the greatest feelings is see their confidence grow as they succeed 
Yaaaaay to your daughter and to you too Give us bread, but give us roses!
