I am not very happy today.
The week before last, I got a leave of absence from work to look after my Father full time. He has been suffering with lung cancer, which could not be cured due to there being a secondary when it was discovered.
Yesterday morning at 04-30 he died while I held his hand, today I have organised his funeral. I'm pissed off and fed up, I already miss the poor bugger. ![]()
Hugs to all.
Irene.

He was a sweetie and he knew as much about battles as Mr F at the munch! His chocolate pudding that night almost made me mug him. Remember the happy times Irene. Look at those pictures and remember what a special relationship you both had. Big hugs E xxx Oooh! I've just found out how to use this! |

I'm so sorry for you loss Irene. Sending you some strength and best wishes. Louise. Going to school does not make a person educated, any more than going to a garage makes a person a car |

There is nothing that I can say to comfort you. Just to let you know that I know what you are going through. My thoughts are with you. Gary x. Everyone who lives dies, but not everyone who dies has truly lived. |

Thank you all for your support, it has helped a great deal. Over the last six years my Father had I had got very close, it will be a wrench to attend his funeral. On a practical note, My parents both pre bought their funerals some years ago. They spent £800 on a basic funeral, which would now cost between £1500 and £2000, it also made organising it very easy as I did not have to worry about finding the money. I intend in the next six minths to do the same, and I recommend the action to all those with loved ones who will have to look after their funery arrangements. Hugs, Irene.
Yet Dom as I am _
