This is my first; yes my very first ever post to IC. Although I have been a member for nearly 6 years I have never posted.
Well now I am.
As many of you will be aware, I had a bit of a problem in the latter part of last week
OK those of you that know me, (I reckoned on a small few but it is actually loads it seems) will know I deflect things with Humour.
So here it goes,
I was scared shitless Friday night. Suspected meningitis, - Lumber puncture procedure done in hospital. I thank everything I hold dear, and the chosen deity of your choice, it was not.
I could go into graphic detail about it all but I will not,
It is a viral infection and I still feel quiet ill.
I am back at my house in Birmingham now.
I would like to thank.
Firelynx for being there and being my friend.
LeatherMGoddess for being My beloved owner, part (well head of) my family, My Ma'am and for coming such a long way to see me in my hour of need. Giving me a shoulder to cry on, a huge smile of greeting and a body to hug and just being you.

I don't know you. But really, with a title like that how could I NOT read it?? I am also glad your safe and home (even though I don't know you as mentioned above). I'm also glad you have good friends who where there for you in your time of need. Hugs, penwiggle And really, you should post more. I live my life in fantasy. I occasionally look back at reality. Sheesh, what some people will do to get a bit of medical play, eh? Did you have to wear one of those gowns that almost cover you but not quite, huh, huh? In all seriousness, I am delighted to hear the lumbar puncture tests (needleplay!) came back negative for meningitis. What a relief that must have been for you and those around you! I also hope you are back to your 'old' self soon and can put this nasty experience behind you. I'm a tad disappointed you were discharged from hospital so quickly. I was doing lots of vocal exercises so I could come down and give you a resounding rendition of "Oh, what a beautiful morning" because I know you used to love it so. Never mind though, it'll keep until I see you next. LOL Get plenty rest, last week will have taken more out of you than you may realise. Most importantly...Get Well Soon!
