Master is very interested in them (as am I hehe) The best size to get first off etc and who can recommend a good reliable supplier ??

Is there anyone going to lovetrix that would be willing to show Master and I a little domonstration maybe??? and perhaps some guidance?

Yes, indeed, I've met Alex a few times and been very impressed. My single tail is from Mike Murphy, of Murphys whips in Australia,

and is the signature 16 plait 4' snake - anything longer than that is tricky to use indoors, as of course you need to allow more than twice the length of the whip to use it - and I've marked a few ceilings with it, too I'm very fond of mine, as an alternative to Alex's.

Their aussie whip supplies whips are damn good value - particulely the four foot bullwhip. It is very light and accurate - suits my style well.

I've also bought from Em-brand (Tasmania) several times and can thoroughly recommend him - Bernie, that is: http://www.em-brand-whips.com/. Well-priced whips (quirts and a signal in my case), utterly dependable, great communicator and lovely person.

And I've bought from Victor Tella (US) - in fact my own whip is a 3-4 ft VT snake. Again, superb whip, slightly longer lead time than Em-brand. He seems to have several websites; they all seem to work! http://www.snakewhip.com/

I don't know whether anyone has any concerns about ordering from outside the EU, but for what it's worth I've had 5 whips delivered and never copped for import duty. That goes for all my other BDSM purchases from the States too. Mind, I did grin when the cute female postie delivered the last whip together with customs label stating 'leather whip'.

Oh yes, sorry - don't go for longer than a 4' if you're looking at indoor play. 16 plait gives strength and should loosen relatively quickly; the more plaits, the more immediately supple but will probably be slightly less resilient in the long run... but we're talking about the very long run here, unless you turn into manic obsessive whip hand and taker!

I can't comment on many of the suppliers mentioned, but Alex is a top geeza and I have never, ever heard anyone grumble about his whips.
