not too happy at the moment, my cat has been missing since friday night and although this isn't a very long time he is 15 years old and blind (still lively and noisy), plus we had that awful weather.
sheesh he had lasted longer than my marriage..lol
but i keep thinking i can hear him, i have been round the local area calling him, i have spoken with neighbours who have checked sheds/garages, put a notice in the local papershop and called various vets and the council
still nothing
its the not knowing that hurts, if someone said sorry but we found him curled up dead under the hedge and got rid of him then fine.... but the thought that he may have been injured and suffering and cold and alone just wrenches at my heart.
sorry going to have to go and cry now
....
i want my cat back....

Keep knocking on doors, litter the place - lamposts, fences with photographic detailed posters, use lost cat websites, call the RSPCA, call all the vets in the rea and report the cat missing... Fingers crossed and don't give up xxx | |

The best thing you can do is walk around your area as much as possible. You leave your scent around that way and your cat could pick up on it and make its way home. It may take it a while but it's possible. Sorry hun, it's the best advice i can give. Hope he comes home real soon to you. Hugsss pj xx "Fantasy is an exercise bicycle for the mind. This happened last year with our cat, who had always been an indoor animal before. She went missing for five weeks over bonfire night and some really really cold evenings. Then, she just turned up one night, right as rain, none the worse for wear and had obviously mnaged to feed herself. So don't give up any hope at all, cats are very capable creatures and can look after themselves well. I also heard loads of stories about similar experiences from other cat owners and the cats always turn up eventually. So keep your spirits up, I am sure you will be reunited soon. Please let us know when your cat comes back xxxx I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own. (The Prisoner 1967) |
