A second visit to Nemesis (10)

Last night I went with my beloved to Nemesis. I have been once before but it was his first visit. The reason we haven't been since we got back together (which makes it two and a half years since my first visit) is that it is so far away from us (out near Huddersfield in Yorkshire).

I was a little nervous about what I should wear, but a body stocking and panties with a basque seemed ok. I wore trackie bottoms and a fleece in the car over the top, because I know they have changing rooms. I am glad that their dress code is very accepting without being too lax.

The site gives very good directions from various directions and T was impressed that the Guardians met us in the carpark with torches, even though the weather was pretty foul. I was concerned that the place would be cold but when we went in it was as warm as the welcome.

Everything at Nemesis is so well done, so tastefully laid out that you feel as if the attention is paid to the details so much that it was done for you personally. I could go into raptures about the lighting, the space, the private rooms (especially the black one where we played!) The music was not intrusive (in fact I rarely noticed it, so perhaps it was too low).

Obviously the reason we would go to a club is primarily for the opportunity to use equipment that we don't have a chance to use otherwise, or to play without disturbing the neighbours! The equipment is designed and made (apparently) by the Nemesis crew. Some of the equipment had changed since I last went, though the spiderweb was still there, and though the club had just the right amount of people in, there was still free equipment and space to use it in.

Socialising is important too, you never know who you might meet and the seating area near the bar was great to catch up with avery good friend and her partner. The bar sells hot and soft drinks (they made the tea just right too) at reasonable prices and you can take your own alcohol if you so wished.

There is a little area where you can buy 'things' - Tarragon bought a fiendishly delicious flogger, which he tried out later.

Last night was a special night and there was food as well as play. At midnight there was bubbly and lots of hugging of total strangers (which is the only time I imagine that you hug a seminaked stranger whilst barely dressed yourself).

I am looking for something to say which will stop this sounding like an advert. Well, ideally I would like a sign up in the cafe which would light up when the private rooms became free, or failing that, more seats near the rooms so we could see when they became vacant.

I would like the website to be a bit clearer on rules. Many clubs have rules such as no penetrative toys, and I wasn't sure whether these were banned, or whether nudity was acceptable (though once I got there I could tell about the latter).

These are minor details, all in all Nemesis is all I want a club to be, except that it should be next door to my house, if not downstairs.

It was an excellent night, thanks to my beloved, my friends and the Nemesis crew. We will be back, I promise.

It was great to see you again!!! Hope you can make it a bit more regularly in future, it's well worth the trek (about 30 minutes for me mwaaahahaha!!!)

Would you mind terribly if I cut and pasted some of your blog in an email to a friend who is debating whether to go to Nemesis next weekend? It is so well written and sums up everything I would say about the club, but in a more organised fashion!

Read your blog with pleasure as I consider Nemisis the BEST club in England and possibly the Universe lol...I do not recall seeing you there and hope that you will come over and say hello next time you get to visit. I was the Gorean Slave girl in a harness and bells with black hair piled up very high and was with the tall dark man in the cloak and leathers..We are always there when its open. Look forward to meeeting you in the future and please give my respects to your Master.
