Very relaxed, no one pushing, no one rushing... it feels so right that there's no reason to jeopardise it.
In the meantime what are we?
For once, I need the label
The simple security that the label provides, a womanly desire for the indication of commitment insinuated in that single word, that label.
Longing for it, leading the conversation towards the direction where it could so easily be slipped in. Leading, but not pushing. Certainly not mentioning it.
Yet as creatures that so rarely understand 'subtle', is this enough? Should we be more blatant in our desires so the male of the species is a little less confused?
In the meantime, he's constant, consistent, thoughtful and suitably mad, so matches well. He makes himself at home and it feels like he belongs. Even the cats have accepted him and he appreciates how potentially huge that is!
So all is peaceful and well in the little world we have created.
Then it came...
The 'G' word
No big deal, no big fuss or to do. Just casually slipped into conversation. Like it had been there all along, just unspoken. And suddenly it all falls into place. It all makes sense. The label no longer matters, now its been spoken.
And so the future begins...

<grins> gotta love that blog Love is no sin, God created love, and morality is entirely a question for oneself. So long as you do not hurt anyone else through love, no one ought to presume to judge you. *E Von Wittelbach |
