I've just been to Superdrug, and they may appear to have stopped stocking stockings. For the last 12 or so years they have been the source of my cheap-yet-hardwearing everyday pairs. I spent a few hours going around Durham and discovered that BHS, Boots, Savers health & beauty, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Tesco do not appear to sell them either. Do retailers assume that no-one wears decent underwear anymore? This season's fashions are worse than sh!te. Not a single suspender belt for sale, and no basques either. It was all utilitarian underwear and *shudders* teddies. What is the world coming to, and where can I get cheap hardwearing stockings like Superdrug used to sell? I cannot afford to be spending huge amounts on expensive fancy ones for everyday wear - the Superdrug ones used to be £1.49 for a box of two pairs. Any help appreciated.
