I just read the posting on Hades and I am surprised at the treament this person experienced. We have only been to Hades once and the reason for not going back was nothing like this experience. We were both avid club attendees but we became very disallusioned with the club scene primarily because they were either moving venue to venue at a moments notice, or it just didn't happen at all, if it wasn't either of those it was bad or non-existent parking and certainly on more than one occasion the car being broken into and vandalised......no fun driving home in the middle of january with no windows in the car !! so now we've given up with a lot of the clubs, we go to only one club now Xs, it has secure off road parking & plenty of it, best club prices we know for both entrance & drinks, a players club not a fashion venue. I think people forget sometimes what clubs are all about, everyone should feel safe at a club, new people should be made to feel welcome despite whether their Dom or sub, there should be respect for everyone, too many clubs now are about making money and the real value for them seem to have gone the same as some of the really good old clubs of the past. I've no interest in clubs that are out just to make money or those people who go to them that aren't players but people who just like to leave the price tag on show on the clothes their wearing. Until we hear of a really good club that offers what we and our friends enjoy, safe, consenual play, then we will stick with Xs, at least we know the venue isn't likely to move, we can park safe and have a hell of a lot of fun in the dungeon....afterall isn't that what it's all about?
