WELL!

I went to Hades with my subbie to play for the first time last night, we had an excellent time meeting friends old and new, playing with my experimental flogger made from a plaited belt, as well as enjoying the spectacle of others playing.

We spent most of the evening in the main play room enjoying the ambience and Mr Bone's mixes while playing as hard as we ever have.

We finished our time with a supension session using cling film, my method was designed to support subbie's back without putting any pressure points on it at all. I have to do this as he has a degenerative back problem, and I really don't want to accelerate the degeneration. He was away with the faeries a couple of times during the evening, and now despite being normally un-enthusiastic about public play, is begging to return.

I am restricted in my visits to Hades for organisational and personal reasons, but subbie might be there causing mayhem from time to time.

I found the atmosphere and ambiance excellent as a player, but do have reservations about the noise from the "dance" room. I fact that is what caused us to leave as the level increased towards the end of the night to the point where even in the main bar/greeting area we could hardly hold a sensible conversation, and in the main play room it was beginning to drown out the good work of Mr Bone.

I thought the music got a bit loud too. was a shame cos at the beginning of the evening that room was a really nice place to sit. With some lovely thudding sounds as well as the music
