I was lucky enough this week to be asked to help set up the new venue at Baldock. Having attended several events at both of their previous venues in Biggleswade I didn't quite know what to expect. I was really gobsmacked, many of the smaller clubs operate on a shoe string budget from a seedy venue, but this place has really got the lot. It operates as a Naturist Spa most of the time but TREATS ! have got it booked once a month ( third Saturday ) for the forseable future. On three floors, they have A Large Jacuzzi, Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Showers, changing rooms with private lockers, A massive Lounge, dance floor, DVD Theatre, Gym, Sun Room, Bar (with prices like CHEAP !) and SEVEN Playrooms. This is definitely a club that will make others sit up and take notice of how it should be done. Just take a look at the pictures at www.treatsparties.co.uk you wont need any more persuading ! CHECK IT OUT !

I have a question for you.

Are you a prostitute?

This type of judgemental rudeness is a threat to all that we do. Not to say disrespectfully to those who for whatever reason sell sexual services.

We are vulnerable to persecution for our lifestyle and chosen morality, if then are then narrow minded enough to judge others in "public" then we have removed one of our strongest defences.

OK, it's a fairly blunt question, but i was unaware that prostitute is the bad word some people seem to think it is?

Please enlighten me, is prostitution suddenly illegal? I assume that whatever the girl is doing is legal as she is advertising quite openly with her place of work.

Why was this question taken as offensive?

I apologise if the question had no negativity implied.

I am a little sensitive to the term prostitute being used in a negative way within the BDSM community and do not approve of its being used in that way.

hi you wonderful lot.........and yes this is the first time I've done this.......and yes it's the first time I've been to a club i.e. Treats........right not gonna beat about the bush i'll tell you how i see it as a newbie if i get banned from the club so be it i don't want that to happen but the truth often hurts....arrived with plenty of time and loads of nerves first of all finding some where to park trust me it's not easy baldock is a busy place at night with plenty of pubs and restaurants once I'd done that sat and waited for 10pm to arrive then just before 10pm i heard that wonderful sound of boots heading my way so jumped out the car and asked the 3 wonderful people if they were heading for Treats and luck was yes i asked to join them as it was my first time and they took me under their wing.......we had a small problem getting in but once in was met with the warmth from a kind young lady who was to show me round.....(can i just say right now sorry all your names have gone from my small memory) any way with the nerves still getting the better of me i asked if i could have my hands tied behind my back (think you might remember me......lol) once that was done i was shown around.....it's a big place with loads of room and most of the things you need to have a darn good time just remember people it's a new venue as far as i would say it had a good start and will only get better in time if it gets the support it well deserves like i say there are a few things the club can do and a few they can't to make it a fantastic venue any way can i just say as a newbie thank you all at the club for a great time....... sorry about any spelling or such like.....can't all be perfic or it'll be a sad world...... how's that saying go don't knock it till you've tried it!!!!!!!

The reason people slag it, or anything else off, is generally bandwagon. Someone does it because they dont like the tone/spelling/person/etc etc and then someone else joins in .

I went to Treats earlier in the year.Ok,its not my cup of tea because its inteneded and is a players club BUT, if you are a player it has massive appeal. I say, knock a club only if youve been. If not, you are not best placed to judge.
