Woken up this morning, not long before 11, by the houseboy hammering on the door. No, I wasn't lazing in my pit post-clubbing, the local yobs had been having their firework fun until way past 4am this morning. For more on firwork fun, see these links:

From waking up until I was ready to go out, I'd felt a deep sense of unease, which I couldn't quite pinpoint, so I decided to make a call, where my fears were confirmed. Hopefully that situation's sorted, or will be soonish.
Off we toddled to drop the summer duvet in at the dry cleaners. The roads and pavements were littered with fireworks. I've decided to stay in tonight, for a variety of reasons. but one of them is to make sure my beloved cat is OK. The shutters and curtrains are already closed, and the TV turned up. I'm hoping that tonight will see the back of most of it. I'm annoyed, as it's Mistress Nikki's birfday.
Strolled in to Camden, as it was a lovely, crisp day. First purchase was a pedometer, my training starts on Monday. The only part in dreading is pounding the streets of London in the dark after work. Not good 
Next, my daughter has requested a pair of punky Underground baseball boots for her birthday at the end of the month (among other things....). Couldn't believe my luck when the first shop we went in to both stocked them AND had her size. Result!
Trundled along to Fairygothmother, to try on the elusive Puimond corset. No joy. They were supposedly getting stock in August, it's now November.....Oh well.
LAM is very possible tomorrow.

What the fuck is wrong with people today. How the hell do they sleep at night after the squeals of the poor animals they have injured or killed. Makes me sick to the stomach. D xx | |

One has to wonder how they would feel is someone strapped a firework to their bodies and lit it. Which is what I would like to do to those sick lil fucks. The fireworks round here are constant & have been for weeks, what with Ramadan & Eide & now bloody bonfire night. Plus I have very bad PMT & have to up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to make the train connections to get to LAM by 10.30. Oh & did I say I have very very bad PMT!!!!
